Q:
En qué casos es semánticamente correcto aplicar
I am thinking that...
I think that....
las dos frases hablan de tiempo presente,¿Cómo las distingo una de la otra?.
I am thinking that...
I think that....
las dos frases hablan de tiempo presente,¿Cómo las distingo una de la otra?.
A:
Well yes both are grammatically correct- the two statements are in the present tense but the first one is in the PRESENT CONTINUOUS and the second one is the PERFECT PRESENT.
The PRESENT CONTINUOUS is used for actions which are occurring right now and subjects they are still happening.
E.g. Estoy comiendo ensalada = in this moment I am eating salad
Hoy estoy poniendome una falda = today I am wearing a skirt
The PERFECT PRESENT is still used for actions occurring now but it has a more ‘general’ tone.
E.g. Como ensalada = I eat salad (but doesn’t really specify anything)
Me pongo una falda = I generally wear a skirt
In most cases “I think that...” sounds more natural but obviously context is important.
Hope this helps

Q:
¿En qué casos debo usar "her" y "hers"?.
Y en qué casos debo usar "our" y "ours"?.
Podrían complementar con ejemplos por favor. Muchas gracias.

A:
I believe "hers" is equal to "suyo" and follows "is": The book is hers = el libro es suyo.
As in Spanish it is not hugely common emphasizes that it belongs to her.
If you put it after the noun you need "of", unlike Spanish.
A friend of hers is here = Un amigo suyo está aquí. So that is one difference.
