Preguntas sobre ejemplos de oraciones con, y la definición y uso de "Flyover"

A: There are states we call "flyover states" in the US because they aren't usually tourist destinations, and what I think they're trying to say with "flyover boy" is that he's a person people usually pass over, but this time he wasn't and the other character is sympathizing with him.
This was a weird one that I don't think I've ever heard before too.
