A: I think those are a little different. "It's hard for me" means that for some reason, it's difficult for me to do something, whether it be because of mindset, a physical disability, literally anything. "In my mind it's hard" sort of implies that it's not actually hard for me, it just seems hard when I think about it. However, there may be some specific circumstances where these two overlap
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre hard y difficult ?
A: They both mean the same thing if used in the same context. However, hard can also be used to describe a physical attribute, such as "this apple is very hard", in which case you are not implying that the apple is difficult, rather that the apple is not soft.
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre hard y intense y tough ?
A: All three words could be used synonymously, but if you're really into English there are different conntations between all words.

it depends on the circumstance of course. but they all can be used in most cases... for example, if you exercise. "this exercise is tough" and "this exercise is hard" both mean the same thing as it is "difficult" but if you were to say "this exercise is intense" doesn't necessarily mean it is difficult, but that it may be fast paced, and demanding of extreme strength, passion, or endurance.

intense can also be used when describing feelings. if you are extremely sad, or passionate, or happy. your feelings can be intense, or overwhelming. but you would not be able to say that your feeling is tough, or hard.
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre hard y difficult ?
A: Hard means:
- requiring a great deal of endurance or physical or mental effort.

Difficult means:
- needing much effort or skill to accomplish, deal with, or understand.
- characterized by or causing hardships or problems.

Difficult and hard can both be used to mean the same thing because they have very similar meanings.

However in some contexts only hard can be used, and vice versa.

E.g.
- this question is really hard
- this question is really difficult
(Both same meaning: the question requires a lot of effort to understand and solve)

- I found it hard to believe that she is 40 years old.
(Requiring a lot of mental effort)

- please don't be so difficult
(Please don't kick up a fuss)

- please don't be so hard on us
(Please go easy on us)
