Q: Por favor muéstrame oraciones como ejemplos con For instance

It’s an idiom, I know. But « for instance » is written word? I often say « for exemple » , so can I use « for instance » instead of for example in conversation?.
A: Yeah its mostly interchangeable but I would use for example (e.g) when im about to list things or I am about to say a sentence after. I would just use for instance when I am about to say a sentence after or after I have just listed things.

I like animals e.g. cats, dogs, birds etc..

sounds better than

I like animals for instance cats, dogs, birds etc

However, if I were to put the list at the start of the sentence (to exagerate the specific list of things I am talking about) this sounds better:

Dogs, cats and birds for instance make really good house pets.

Dogs, cats and birds for example make really good house pets.

Dont use the e.g. in this instance as we most normally pronounce it as e.g. not “for example” and we expect to hear a list after someone says “e.g”

In terms of using for example / for instance to combine ideas:

I like do a lot of outdoor sports for instance I go skiing every winter in New Zealand

Sounds better than

I like do a lot of outdoor sports for example I go skiing every winter in New Zealand

This is just what I think but at the end of the day I dont think english speakers would really notice much of a difference

Palabras similares a "Instance" y sus diferencias

Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre for instance y for example y such as ?
A: Well, I think there are some instances when "such as" can't replace "for instance" and "for example." Let's see:

He seemed sad yesterday; for example he didn't laugh at any jokes (but "such as he didn't laugh at any jokes" doesn't quite work).

Softer nuts, such as pistachios are very nutritious. ("Softer nuts, for instance pistachios are very nutritious." This works, but it's not as smooth as using "such as").

"For instance" and "for example" are interchangeable for the most part. Maybe there are subtile nuances, and "for example" sounds more formal.

Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre for instance y for example ?
A: No difference in everyday speech.
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre For instance y For example ?
A: 'For example' is used to make more clear what is being said.

Example: "Everyone has a favorite color. For example, mine is green."

'For instance' is used when talking about situation/scenario (usually future tense)

Example: "A lot of things could go wrong. For instance, someone could get hurt or I could forget my ID and wallet."

Instances are specific examples, so all instances are examples too.

But not all examples are instances because examples can be anything but instances are specific examples.
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre instance y case ?
A: Instance may be one particular example of several similar ones but not in every case
Whereas "case" is perhaps a little more general in that it refers to a case which may or may not have different instances.
Generally they can be substituted but "instance" suggests and very particular version of a case such that next time the case occurs (a difference instance) the result may not be the same.
Q: ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre For instance y For example ?
A: For instance and For example can be used formally or informally, they both generally have the same meaning.
However, For Instance is usually used to describe possible circumstances

"I would like to see a better world. For instance, what would happen if everyone cared about each other?"

For example is used to give more details

"Children should wear colorful shirts. For example, red, blue, or green."

Q: ¿Cómo dices esto en Inglés (US)? Let’s say for instance, you confided to a colleague about planning to quit your job but quite unsure yet. But that colleague went straight to your boss and told it himself/herself without your consent. Is that bypassing or is there another word for it?
A: well, actually yeah. The way you said it works really well. To steal someone’s thunder would be like to take credit for something that someone else was planning on doing. Or rather to do something someone else was planning on doing and getting all the praise for it. (It usually always refers to something positive or praise-worthy)

-Sorry about stealing your thunder, I was working with her so I shared the news with her. (I actually did “steal my brother’s thunder” just the other day by sharing the news of his engagement with my sister at work… he was planning on telling her that afternoon but he had told me that morning) anyways, I suppose you could use this phrase with your example, but it’s usually used praise-worthy things. Another example:
-I was so close to winning! But of course he had to swoop in last second and steal my thunder.

With your example, I’m not sure if there’s a very good verb/phrase you could use. You could say that the news was yours to share as in you alone had the right to give the news.
-That was my news to share. Why would you go around me and tell her? (Go around = bypass)

P.S. Thank you btw! 😊
Q: ¿Cómo dices esto en Inglés (US)? ......For instance, both mooncake and tangyuan symbolize harmony, happiness and reunion .Thus, Chinese food is closely correlated with the history and values. No wonder “A Bite of China” has achieved great success.
A: I would change to: "For instance, both mooncakes and tangyuan symbolize harmony, happiness, and homecoming. Thus, Chinese food closely corresponds with the country's history and cultural values." (The last sentence is good as is.)

Your writing is very good! I've read much worse from English speakers. I thought "homecoming" sounded better because it is alliterative, but it might not be what you mean.

I changed "correlate" to "correspond" because "correllate" has the feeling of comparing something mathematical or scientific.

I don't know if "the country's history and cultural values." changes the meaning too much. It wasn't wrong, I just thought it sounded a little awkward. It could be "its history and values".

Q: ¿Cómo dices esto en Inglés (US)? Say it for instance, I have work tomorrow but I won't be able to show up since I am not really feeling well. In this situation, how am I supposed to kindly ask my co-workers to replace me in a formal way?
A: I am scheduled for tomorrow, but I'm not feeling well. Would you be able to cover my shift tomorrow?
