Q: What is your favorite teen magazine you used to read or read now? And could you describe it, like why do you like it, etc. (It's for my university's project) 😁
A: When I was a teenager, I used to read Cosmopolitan, Teen Beat and J-14, haha.

My favorite had to be between Cosmo and J-14. I used to read them mainly to quench boredom, and the articles were rather comical if not a great time killer. There were some interesting things I learned, but being a magazine, they were nothing to take too seriously. So in essence, I really liked them primarily because they covered the juicy, controversial aspects of the entertainment world. I also got to see what new celebrities were coming into the industry, and sometimes, I discovered new movies, shows, songs and clothing that were trending. Cosmo was more for mature audiences. It discussed intimacy, relationships and the like. J-14 was more for preteens and younger teenagers. So you'd find a lot more celebrities around your age in that one. Overall, they fulfilled that teenage like curiosity at finding out about these growing, glamorous industries. Nowadays, online news is preferred over magazines due to a better accuracy in information, but you can't deny the nostalgia at remembering how popular and sought after magazines once were =)
Q: What is a "pre- teen test" may I ask?
A: Hmm. That's a very strange response to give to someone who asks you to have a cup of coffee with them. Perhaps there is backstory to the film that would clarify why this was said.

"Maybe you'll have a cup of coffee before you go" and "I would love to" sounds more natural for some reason.
