"Aren't I?" is a grammatically incorrect and informal expression, but it's still used when you want someone to agree with you about yourself.
Examples:
-"I'm very smart, aren't I?"
-"I'm quick when it comes to running, aren't I?"
- Coreano
- Inglés (US)
Aren't I:
1. Seeking an answer to make sure of something (related to yourself)
2. Can be used in a way that the other person doesn't have to answer
(Usually used to brag)
Examples for 1
- "I'm smart, aren't I?"
- "Aren't I pretty?"
Examples for 2
- "Aren't I so cool?" (In this case, the other person wouldn't answer)
- "I'm amazing, aren't I?"

Aren't can be used to represent
(1) "are not" or
(2) it can represent "am not" JUST IN QUESTIONS. Am I not? --> Aren't I?
For QUESTIONS ONLY this is used in replace of "ain't", the alternative contraction of "am not" which is now considered improper English.
Am I not? is the non contracted form of both "aren't I?" or "ain't I?"
Note that "ain't" is currently considered lower quality English and the way you would imagine a hillbilly or uneducated person to speak. There are a few set expressions that commonly use ain't, but I would advise you to probably avoid using "ain't" if you want to avoid risking sounding uneducated.
Aren't I? is the most commonly used out of those three choices.

Here's an example of some of the speech from people who might be considered to talk like a hillbilly.
