¿Cuál es la diferencia entre guarantees y warranties ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

In a contract it's been use "seller makes no guarantees or warranties" and I would like to understand the difference. Thank you.

A guarantee and warranty derive from the same root. The difference in meaning is subtle. A guarantee relates to the quality of the goods at the time of purchase and for a period of time (say, 2 years from date of purchase). A warranty related to the vendor/manufacturer putting something right under certain circumstances after purchase, particularly in relation to services rather than goods.
In essence there is little difference between the two.
