I was watching a short video of a British humorist and I've noticed something :
Sometimes she uses «me» instead of «my».
For instance at some point she says «I went to the supermarket with me friend».
It makes me a bit uncomfortable cause I didn't learn that at school or in any books so I'm perplexed.
Can you help me about it?

The proper form is "my" but in some places in the uk, they use "me." It just depends on where you are.
It's also slang in a way. Hope this is not too confusing :)

It can be heard in the northern part of the UK, more than in the south. A British comedienne called Sarah Millican has said “me ...” in her performances at times.
