greatful and thankful mean the same, pleased mean that someone is glad (that you done something and the effect is good or said)
examples:
They were so thankful for my help.
I'm grateful for friend like you.
She is pleased when you are appreciating her work.

Grateful and thankful: you are indebted to someone who did something good for you, especially when it is some good thing that you were not able to do for yourself.
Pleased: you are satisfied or happy about something.
