usually you don't use "switch of the lamp" (because it's might be understood as switch off), but between "switch on the lamp" and "turn on the light" doesn't have big difference, only when it comes to lamp and light

The switch is the mechanism that turns the lamp on or off (switch the flow of electrical current ON, then switch the current OFF).
So, switch on & turn on mean the same thing.
Switch OFF, not switch of.
