¿Cuál es la diferencia entre retrospective y retroactive ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

I searched the web a bit but I didn't come across a concise explanation.
I want an opinion from ordinary native speakers, do you guys think they're more or less interchangeable?

Retrospective is to look back at something that has already happened. Example: “we will review the Project team’s progress from the past fortnight at the retrospective presentation to be held at 3pm on Friday”.
Retroactive is when something is done now but made effective from a time in the past. Example: if a new law or regulation was passed or enacted today, but with an effective from 1 January 2019.
They’re actually quite different meanings. I can’t think of an ordinary way in which I’d use them interchangeably.
