Still is something that is expected to have happened by now. Or is continuing to happen.
Yet is something that is expected to happen in the future or hasn't happened.
Por ejemplo:
• Are you in bed yet?
• ¿Estás todavía en la cama?
• You are still in bed.
• Todavía estás en la cama.
Another way to think about it is like this.
• It's still happening to me
• It's not happening to me yet.
Es como usando 'aún' o 'todavía' en español. Pero en inglés usamos uno para explicar la futura y la otra es para explicar hasta al momento.
