@Enyo
*wenn man über eine dritte Person spricht, ist „ihr“/„ihre“ klein geschrieben
Kann ich ihr helfen? (der Frau)
Wie alt sind ihre Kinder? (der Frau/dem Ehepaar)
Wie alt sind Ihre Kinder? => Höflichkeitsform, du sprichst direkt mit der Person
Sind das eure Schuhe? => z.B. wenn du zwei Kinder fragst (2. Form Plural)
Sind das Eure Schuhe? => kann als sehr höfliche Anrede verwendet werden; ich würde sagen, eine Einzelperson so anzusprechen ist mehrheitlich veraltet

Ihr means "her" when the following Noun is masculin or neuter and ihre is used when it is feminine or plural. (In German, the plural often is handled as if it would be just another grammatical gender.)
ihr can also mean "you" plural/ "you all" when used in nominative and it can mean her when used in dative.
Habt ihr ihr gesagt, dass ich sie mag? (Did you (guys) told her that I like her?)
Habt ihr ihre Tasche genommen? Did you guys take her bag?
When ihre is written with a capital letter (Ihre) it means your [formal, plural and sigular].
Haben Sie Ihre Tasche vergessen? Did you forget your bag?
Just google "German personal pronoun chart" or "possessive pronouns case table" and you will find a table which will make it clear for you to where to use ihr/ihre/ihren/ihrem/Ihre/Ihren/Ihrem and so on. ;)
