¿Esto suena natural? I have gained a solid grounding in finance, economics and mathematics. More specifically, I absorbed the content of the courses of Microeconomics and Accounting well and got a score of 95% in each of them, ranking first in my faculty.

Natural
If you're in a school/university/college=class.
Department=if you're employed, and this was training.
Faculty has a different meaning. It's mostly used to say teachers/staff.

Hm, I don't think there's a common word for that. I guess I ranked the highest from all the sections(of that class).
