Girlfriend indicates a (somewhat) serious relationship. A squeeze may or may not be as serious as a girlfriend. But usually it’s used to indicate ‘current girlfriend’ which has a possibility of changing in the future. It indicates that you’re in a sexual relationship with that person. Example, she’s his current squeeze.
Sweetheart is normally used as a word of endearment for those you like. Can be your significant other, your kid, friend, or someone you really like and think is very nice. There are also people who have a habit of calling random people sweetheart.

更に質問ですが、Girlfriendやsqueeze は相手の年齢によって使い分けしますか？例えばGirlfriendは相手や自分の年齢が若い時にしか使わない。逆にsqueeze は若い年齢の人には使わないなどの違いがありますか？また、squeeze は性的な関係がある可能性がある人とありますが、他者に話すときにフォーマルで使っても良い言葉ですか？もし他者に自分の相手を紹介する時にmy squeezeといいますか？
映画を見ていてsqueeze と言う言葉を使っているのを始めてみたので言葉の使い分けに興味がわきました。
