I often wonder which to use, be ing or will be ing.
For instance, I called Mr.A last month to make an appointment on December 20th. The day is approaching, I'd like to make sure if he is still ok to meet next week (as scheduled last month).
In this case, which is correct to say?
(This is just a friendly reminder that) I'm visiting your office to meet you next week.

The second option is better, but how about trying this: "I'll be visiting your office to meet with you next week. Does that still work for you?" This way you sound natural and polite.

Just in case, may I ask why the second option is better? will be visiting sounds polite whereas be visiting doesn't?

It is not so much the “I will be”, which sounds more professional, but the question I added at the end makes you sound considerate of Mr. A’s time.
