¿Esto suena natural? However, if the company was big in America, it was a giant in Asia.

If this is not natural, what should I put instead "if"?
I can choose from "so", "whether", "despite" or "if".

'if' is okay, you just need to make sure the sentence after that is correct! anyways your english is great!
