well the left party did not sparkle those past years and Holland is not going to run. instead it is his (ex) prime minister that is running but he lost a lot of popularity during his office and mostly with recent decision making about labour laws reform fiasco. On the right we have the same old guys trying to grab extreme right voter without sounding racist and having much of a plan neither. but because the left is in power right now the elections will probably be for this guy (François Fillon).
and at the extreme right still surfing on general misinformation and the fuckup of everybody is the extreme right. seducing young minds with an avalanche of complaints about the system but not really having nor solution nor a team to run a country.
they are the same bunch of confusion seducers as the guys leading to brexit and not being able to explain their lies or misinformation had to resign.
prognostic the left is going to fight to be at the second turn but ultimately the right has the advantage that people see more hope in change.
