Ebb describes the directional movement of the water, not its current state. The water at the beach is getting shallower when the tide ebbs. It is not low tide until the water stops going out. It then begins to flow, ebb and flow. The water at the beach gets deeper, until high tide, where the cycle starts again.

@englishazerbaijani Ok. Scientifically there is no difference. The common pigeon found in cities is actually called a rock Dove and comes from the northern UK. Hunting is what creates the distinction. Types of dove that are eaten are called doves. The idea of eating a pigeon is disgusting. That is only because the diet associated with pigeons is garbage. If you shot a pigeon that had been eating grain. it would probably taste pretty good.
