This question is too broad! There are many differences!

For example. The pronunciation of some letters, like "z/ce/ci". In many places in Spain these letteres are pronounced with the same sound as English "th" in "thing". But in Latinamerican Spanish they sound like the letter "s".

Another important difference. The use of the second person plural (you all). In Spain, the pronoun (and corresponding verb conjugation) would be "vosotros". But in Latinamerica we use "ustedes".

There are also a lot of words that are more common in one country than in the other. And we should also consider that both, Mexico and Spain, have a lot of regional accents a varieties. Spanish in northern Mexico is very different from the Spanish of southeast Mexico. The same can be said about the Spanish of central Spain and the Spanish variety in the South. There's not just a single variety of Mexican Spanish or Peninsular Spanish. (And that's true for all Spanish speaking countries)
