@Better1writer5 In UK English we don't use an expression like うそつき.
So we would say:
Never!
Are you serious?
Get away!
Don't be daft!
Pull the other one!
I wasn't born yesterday!
And so on.

You're a liar: telling them "you are lying" (not telling the truth on purpose)
Are you sure?: asking if they are certain that the information is true.

"You're a liar." Is stating that the person is a liar. You know that person does not tell the truth. It is fact.
"Are you a liar?" Is asking if the person tells lies. Do they not tell the truth?
"Are you sure?" Or "You sure?" Is asking if they know the information is correct. They might have gotten something wrong and you want to know if they believe what they said was correct.
