Pregunta de Estados Unidos

I prefer to watch foreign films and shows because I cringe on Japanese film. I feel like actors speak overly dramatic and unnaturally.

Does native speakers of American English feel the same too toward American movies?

I know your answer will most likely to be “depends on the movie” but let me know if you could kindly share general idea!

(I admit the fact that some recent Japanese movies are way too low budgeted and quality of the script is not great and it making my cringe bigger.
I am a huge sucker for comedy movies. I do watch and enjoy any comedy movie no matter what language it is in.
There are a lots of masterpiece worth to watch in Japanese movie too.)
