@aindanaoacabei As a Lebanese I can tell you that you can find friendly people and you can also find bullying people. In general I can tell you that the bullying people exist in Lebanon but not everywhere. For example if a Lebanese love your country he or she won't bother you. And finally I have to re-say that you can find lots of friendly people and at the same time there's lots of bullying people. (The bullying people exist everywhere)

@Israa74672724 I'm a Lebanese and I won't lie on you! There's lots of bullying on Syrians in Lebanon and this is because of the occupation of Syria to Lebanon and due to the killing of lots Lebanese people while the occupying. And as a conclusion not all the Lebanese are bullying the Syrians in Lebanon.

not at all. certain places are more tolerant than others but overall homophobia and transphobia run rampant in lebanon

@aindanaoacabei yes and no. This depends on the area you’re going to and what will you be doing.
For example, PDA is frowned upon in Lebanon among heterosexual couples, imagine how it would be when it comes to homosexual couples. There are many NGOs working for LGBTQI+ rights and offering services to people from the LGBTQI+ community (health, psychological, legal, etc.) also you have several gay night clubs or pubs, with many pubs (especially in the capital Beirut) are now gay friendly. People protect for LGBTQI+ rights and have marches in the streets (again only in Beirut, and usually without any issue). However there are fanatic groups (such as extreme religious groups, both Christian and Muslim, that call against this).
Being a patriarchal society, men with slightly feminine looks/behavior might get teased or even verbally harassed on the streets, but this has changed with the newer generations.
It’s not a gay haven, but compared to the rest of the middle east, Lebanon is doing much better on the LGBTQI+ rights and friendliness.
