I have been* waiting for you, i have waited for you. They are pretty much the same in my opinion.
I think it's more natural to say "I have been waiting for you". I feel like "I have waited for you" sounds like the incomplete version of "I have waited for you for so long" in a kind of romantic way hahahhah.
If you're waiting for someone to arrive or something like that I would personally say "I was waiting for you".
