Inside something else --> The pasta is in the cupboard // My glasses are in my bag.
AT - LOCATIONS
Specific address --> You can visit us at 145 Maple Road.
Location (e.g. a building) --> Shall we meet at the school? // Are you at the bus stop yet?

If the person you're talking to is a student at the school, you would normally ask them: "Are you at school?" (with no 'the')
