A grin is just a big smile, but can also sometimes be used for fake ones as well. "Grin and bear it" is a common phrase meaning to fake a smile and deal with whatever sad is going on.
Beam is similar in that it's a big smile too, but it's pretty much always used for a happy one.
Smile on its own refers to all of them, just any sort of happy facial expression where the corners of your mouth are turned up.
Smirk is used when it's very conceited or condescending most of the time. Smug and rude, like the smile a bully might have as he taunts his victim. Or maybe you're lying and people are believing you, you have a smirk on your face about how good you are at fooling them.
But I will say in general, grin/beam/smile tend to be used interchangeably. Smirk however is almost always a negative term.

@meowzone So I can say “Paimon is a rambunctious girl who always grins/beams/smiles at people to cheer them up without making light of what they are going through. On the other hand, Lisa is much more of a condescended person who always smirks at people’s failures.” ?
- Inglés (US)
Yes something like that. Any one of those three options there works well to describe Paimon's smile there.
