I asked my friend about "urge" and "crave", and he explained that "you could have an urge to do something meaning you want to but then for some reason you don't end up doing it."
Do you agree with his explanation ?
I don't get it, because I think that doesn't matter actually do or don't.

I agree with you, it doesn't really matter if it actually happens or not.
"crave" you would usually use when you want something really really bad, e.g. you can crave chocolate or you can crave love.
"urge" is when you have a desire to do something e.g. "I have an urge to dye my hair pink" or "I have this urge to kiss him every time I see him"
In the first example you might actually dye your hair pink, but in the second you will probably not kiss him every time you see him (especially if he's not your boyfriend lol), even though you still have the desire to do so. :D
