Q.Which option (A-D) is incorrect?

If [A.you'd] let me sleep in your hammock, I [B.wouldn't have needed] to [C.hire] a bed at the [D.inn].

The sample answer is C, but I'm not sure how I should correct it.

I would say that hire is more unnatural than wrong - hiring is more of paying for someone’s services. I would say “if you’d let me sleep in your hammock, I wouldn’t have needed to rent a bed at the inn” though you can say “get,” but it’s more casual and doesn’t really fit the sentence.
