I heard someone saying: "They cannot turn away of one person at the restaurant"
We were talking about some restaurants that sometimes don't allow people to eat alone. And that was what my friend said. And I was wondering why I should add 'of' after the phrasal verb "turn away". Is there anyone who can elaborate on that for me, please?
