Pregunta de Inglés (UK)
Is it correct?
Any chance I could have 1 hour off (16-17.00) on Tuesday? I’m having an important lecture which I should attend. And of course I can work this hour off any other day when needed

@klariadelrio You could say "...an hour off between four and five [p.m.] on Tuesday." The "and" at the beginning of the last sentence can be omitted; in fact, some people think that using "and" at the beginning of a sentence is bad grammar.

@klariadelrio it’s a little bit unnatural. Something like this is what I’d say:
Is it possible for me to have the hour between 4 and 5pm on Tuesday off so that I can attend an important lecture? Of course, I’ll make the time up on another day.

@klariadelrio When asking questions like this, it's sometimes beneficial to state what you're prepared to before actually asking the question. So I would suggest something like, "If I make the time up, could I possibly take an hour off on Tuesday between 4 and 5 to attend an important lecture ?".
