@Braaaad22 When you say "I don't need no doctor", you're using a double negative which means the opposite of not needing a doctor.

People use "I don't need no doctor" all the time to mean "I do not need a doctor." It doesn't matter that it's a double negative because it's slang, so it does mean "I don't need a doctor." I have never heard someone use that phrase to mean "I need a doctor," that doesn't sound right.

this has roots in AAVE (African American Vernacular English) or ebonics, in other words, "black english." the history of AAVE comes from African languages' influences on American English, you might hear this type of English used in popular culture because of the influence of hip hop and other types of black media and art forms
as for the meaning, although it is double negative, it actually means that you don't need something
example: I don't want no asshole in my life = I don't want an asshole in my life - in "proper" english. but that is not to say it is "wrong" english as people can still understand the meaning. it has cultural significance as well!

The two negatives are considered to cancel each other out. as in mathematics or logic, two negatives are deemed to create a positive. The meaning of the sentence is therefore interpreted as being affirmative, and the opposite of what he actually intended.
in General if I don't need a doctor I would say " I don't need a doctor"
I don't hear people saying it in a different way. they just say I need a doctor or i dont need a doctor. But sometimes in song lyrics they use it!

@mennaali229 they cancel each other out in general american english, but AAVE treats double negatives differently based on its own grammatical rules and system

if youre serious? this is a double negative. you say i do not need a doctor. but what you wrote is common slang. the funny thing is it ends up meaning i need a doctor
