Both are grammatically correct but the second sentence sounds more natural

“You made me look like a complete fool!” Is the correct one.
We have to use “like” in this example sentence as it is comparing you to a fool.

@Jamin Lee but can't the other one be considered as a metaphor? were we compare without conspicuously using 'like'

Um yes you can, I guess. It’s just if you were saying that to someone you would use “like” in your sentence.

The sentence without "like" seems a bit more old-fashioned. Still classy. Something you'd read in Pride and Prejudice
