尺寸 means "size" (the size of things that can be measured by feet and inches, not, for example, that of a country.), e.g.
这件外套的尺寸太大。(The size of this coat is too big.)
这把椅子的尺寸不合适。(The size of this chair is not suitable.)

有没有尺寸小一点的？or 有没有尺寸大一点的？（Of course, you can substitute 一些 for 一点 if the intended change is more obvious.）

If you want to use 比 in this context, it should be added in this way:
有没有尺寸比它小一点的？...
since 比 means "than" and is usually followed by an object of comparison.

This is about the general usage of 尺寸. Actually when we buy things like shoes, we don't normally mention 尺寸. Sometimes we use 号码 or simple 号 (e.g. 号码小一点的，小号的), but more often we just say 小一点的 or 大一点的.

but clothing using 号码。how about at a coffee shop or restaurant. would 尺寸 be used to describe the size of a drink?

Your examples made me realize that my previous summarization might be misleading. Allow me to revise it:
1. 尺寸 is usually used upon objects that is not longer than a couple of (at most 10) feet, so using it to describe a room seems weird. Some of the suitable objects include: cloth, clothing, paper, containers, furniture...
2. In the aspect of clothing, we can use 尺寸 in discussing the size of a jacket, a pair of trousers, etc., but not in describing shoes usually. I'm not exactly clear why, and my hypothesis is that this is perhaps because the shape of shoe looks irregular and therefore it's hard to measure the size precisely, hence the difficulty in activating the word 尺寸 (in mental lexicon) in the first place and the preference of other words...
3. Even with clothing, 尺寸 is mainly used by elders, while young people generally favor 号. This is a reflection of the change of measurement habits. One coat would be discribed as "3 inches longer" than another in the past, but it is "2 sizes bigger" today.
4. As for coffee/cocacola cups, the common way is to ask “您要多大杯的？” or “您要大杯、中杯、还是小杯？”. Probably because the number of the available sizes is very limited (usually 3 - 5) and you cannot cut the cup into other sizes :D
I'm sorry for having to summarize and hypothesize based on personal experiences. I tried to search online, but couldn't find a clearer explanation. I guess this is why foreigners always find Chinese difficult to learn, too few clearly-stated rules and too many exceptions and variations.
