@per999 Well no your sentence was fine, but more natural and quicker to say "What is making you so happy?" or "What makes you so happy?" You can use yours still in texting!

@per999@per999 "Like that" what I think it means is that it's referring to why (a thing or something) is making you happy in that way. Say your happy about something and you tell them what it is. But they question why it's making you so happy for that.

@per999 I think "like this" sounds more for a question. Like that and Like this both are like the same thing

Yes you saying "in my head" does describe where you were correcting the grammar. It means while you were reading the mistakes you were reading them how it was supposed to be written out. In your head of course you were using your inside voice. You read it in a more making sense way.
So people will understand your sentence because you were using your mind to correct the errors. It lets them know how you did it.

@per999 Sorry I didn't make sense there I should've said "You read it in a correct way." Which means you read it how it's supposed to be written out. Or in a way that makes sense to be correct. But yes read would modify a verb because read is the action. Which means you read it would describe as a action.
