@RonnieT Thank you! Usually there's a slight change in feeling when we express things differently. For example, huge and tremendous both mean the same thing but tremendous can sound more dramatic because it's a longer word. Es guapo tu esposo y tú esposo es guapo both convey the exact same feeling? Are there regional preferences? Maybe in Mexico City they prefer one over the other. Maybe in Leon they prefer one but not the other?

@Bebecita theirs no difference but “Es buena la comida” can be used it 2 forms for example you can say that the food is good and that would be “es buena la comida” or you can ask if the food is good and you would say “es buena la comida?” The first one is saying that the food is good and the second one is asking you if the food is good I hope that makes sense but if you want to ask if the food is good make sure you add a question mark.

Basically, you can use it the same. But, we don't commonly use the inversion as the correct way in questions. So, "es buena la comida" should be better said as a question. And "la comida es buena" is better for an affirmation.

@ClauEu Thank you! But I do hear the inversion quite a bit in the part of Mexico where I am so am interested in hearing more about if it's a regional thing, a class thing, an age thing. Thanks for your response.
