Is this text correct?

Clean water and air is the reason of long existence and prosperity of the whole humanity, however, people proceed to pollute them. Instead of improving air and water condition by planting trees and flowers, they are building new factories and plants, they cut down (???) more and more trees. These conditions strongly affect our health. People leave garbage after them in forests, squares, and parks, make fires and drain waste into rivers. They don't plant new trees after cutting off trees. They constantly hunt on animals even just for fun as a result some species of animals become dying out.
