Hi guys. I have a question. I want to say that " A bus driver takes the kids to school , picks them up and he takes them home (their houses) " all in one sentence.
My question is about "take to" and "pick up from".
Please see sentences below and let me know if they are correct , sound natural or show me if there is a better way to say it.
1)The bus driver takes and picks them up from school to take them home.
2)The bus driver takes them to school and picks them up from schol to take them home.
I don't know if it ok to use so many times the word "then" in this kind of sentences when we want to say multiple action of a person.
Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Number 2 is ok. I’d leave out the “from school” as that should be obvious. That way you get rid of one “them”. You could also replace “and” with “then”👍
