How do you say this in Korean and in polite form?
I went out of our house for the first time in a while to hangout with my friends (while wearing mask of course). My two friends and I decided to meet at a certain place. As I was near that place, I saw two girls coming towards my way. I thought, "my friends are finally here~^^". I was so excited to meet them again so I crossed the road. I smiled at them and maintained eye contact hoping they would realize it was me walking towards them. But you see, my eyesight is actually really bad. So only until we got really close to each other when I realized the two girls were not my friends. ㅠㅠ Did something like this happen to you too before?
