MUCH AND MANY
these words can be confusing-- when to use them. as a general "rule of thumb".. if you can COUNT something, you say Many. If you CAN'T count it... use MUCH.
some examples:
how MANY dollar bills do you have (specific)
how MUCH money do you have (general)
how MANY apples do you want (you can count the apples)
how MUCH apple sauce do you want (you can't count it)
John has AS MANY apples as Sam does.
John has AS MUCH apple SAUCE as Sam does.
how many pairs of shoes should I own?
answer: as MANY AS you want!
do you love me AS MUCH AS I love you?

@emtrivoli Thank you. But I've seen some sentences with 'as many as ' or 'as much as'. Would you mind if I ask you to come up with some sentences using those?
