'Freak' the word itself is more for people, like when you call someone a freak, which can mean 'weird person' or a person with abnormal behavior

Please do not use this word in Regards to people or a person. It's highly insulting.

- Polaco
It's also very common to use freak out - it means to go crazy, to be afraid of sth, to go nuts

Freaking can also be used when you want to express or emphasize anger, annoyance or surprise. For example,
'Oh my god, I'm so freaking mad at him right now!'
