¿Cuál es la diferencia entre 31th y 31st ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

I just realized that I’ve never needed to use “31th” or “31st” before (i.e. December 31th/st), and now this doubt came to my mind while filling my CV.

What is the correct/most common way to say it? 31th? 31st?

@deannaclx You would never use 31th. In general, ordinal endings depend on the last digit, so:
- 31st (thirty-firST)
- 32nd (thirty-secoND)
- 33rd (thirty-thiRD)
- 34th - 39th (thirty-fourTH, etc.)

which is why you also have
- 10th - 19th

Why? I don’t know. I had to learn it too. 🙂

the difference is... 31th is wrong, and 31st is correct. it's just how we write it.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
11th...
20th, 21st
30th, 31st
40th, 41st
