¿Cuál es la diferencia entre "I told my family what I did during my vacation in the US" y "I told my family what I did in the US during my vacation". ?Puedes dar oraciones como ejemplo.

No difference, but for the second sentence, maybe you would be talking about things specific to the US (I visited the Statue of Liberty).

Yes, they mean the same, but the second sentence allows for the possibility you visited other countries during your vacation. The sentence order puts emphasis on "in the US", while the first sentence puts emphasis "on my vacation". When you say the first sentence, I imagine you only went to the US for your vacation. Like I said, the second sentence can/does mean the same thing, but it can allow for additional locations. For example, "I told my family what I did in the US during my vacation. However, I forgot to tell them about when I visited Canada." I know it's just a small nuance, but I thought the insight may help.

About the possibility that the speaker spent whole his holidays in the US:
A) The first sentence is higher than the second one.
B) The second sentence is higher than the first one.
C) Can't say either.
