@yanacyma 驚くべきことに feels like an awkward translation for “remarkably”. For example you could say, “She’s remarkably quiet for someone her age.”, in that case it means something closer to “so unusual that it stands out to observers.”
If we go back to that example sentence there’s a difference in nuance between “remarkably” and “surprisingly”.
“Remarkably, he was promoted after only three months.” = The speaker is emphasising that this is an unusual accomplishment or event. It sounds like the person who was promoted did a really good job.
“Surprisingly, he was promoted after only three months.” = The speaker is emphasising how shocking or unexpected it was that this person was promoted so quickly.
