If you mean "watched" as in "I watched TV", then "vi" is what you're after. Explicitly, it is "yo vi", but "yo" is only needed to contrast between subjects, so stick to plain old "vi" if you're just stating a simple event.

However, keep in mind that not all words can be directly translated, because "I watched them through the window" would not use "vi", rather "miré/miraba" or "observé/observaba", again depending on context.
