Pregunta de Australia
Do you think there's a good way to say goodbye?
I mean, the culture of saying goodbye. Like, when you need to hang up the phone;
Or when you need to graduate and possibly you won't see your friends for a long time;
Or when you're moving to another city or a country.
Probably "see you soon" or "see you again" don't count much in the last two situations😅

Lol on the phone my family has the need to say goodbye 3 times.
It normally goes: bye, see ya, hoo roo.
When leaving someone’s house, I’d usually say bye, or hoo roo.
Hoo roo basically means see you soon. It’s from a long line of corruptions, such as: toodle loo, ta ta for now. Sometimes I’ll say “toodles” instead of “hoo roo”.
When seeing someone off on holidays, or if they are going away to uni. I’d say “have a great time.”
I’d also use “cheers” or “ciao” (pronounced chow. It’s an italian farewell)…in some combination with my other farewells.

In our family - since a lot of us live very long distances away and don't usually see each other for years - we usually say "Well, we'll see you when we see you".
