thanks.
Which does the first one mean "someone else and I like milk" or "I like something else and milk." ?

I don't know why people are telling you that "I like also milk" is correct, that's very misleading. No one would ever say that, it is grammatically incorrect and makes no sense really. The first one "I also like milk" is correct and could mean both "someone else and i" and also "I like something else and milk" it all depends on what you would be talking about

@dspen95: if you read what I said, I told her that the second one was incorrect in my first comment. She then asked another question, to which I replied either are correct.

actually, no one told me "I also like milk" is correct. I made this sentence. I wanted to know how to use the word "also".
Now I understood it. Thank you very much.

@arekkusu: you know what, it picked "it could be either" as a featured answer and put it directly below the initial question, making it seem like your answer to the second question was the answer to the first

“I like also milk” does not sound right. I believe you meant:
“I also like milk” or “I like milk also.”
a) First one sounds like you’re saying that you like milk, besides something you had already mentioned:
Example: I like orange juice, I also like milk.
b) 2nd sounds like someone likes milk, and then you tell that person that you too like milk. So you both like milk.
Other than that, there isn’t a big difference.
