Actually a person rides a ride at an amusement park. You see attractions, like a show or a presentation, etc. You ride on the rides. So you would say, "I rode a lot of rides at the amusement park and my favorite was the roller coaster." Or you could say "I went on a lot of rides" instead if you want.
