@AlexElj you mean you wanna note it on your calendar. then I think '야외 촬영' is enough.

Just I have never seen this word 야외. It means outdoors (out) right?

if you wanna write somewhere in the city then, 시내 would be better. 야외 means some kind of field.

I thought:
도시 : city, town
시내 : downtown, centre of town

well it just write on calendar for yourself right? then you can just write way you wanna write. 시내 사진 촬영, 시내 촬영, 시내에서 촬영, 촬영(시내), anything is fine.

@AlexElj I think 도시 is kind like very very big city city(?). e.g. Seoul, Tokyo, New York etc. so if someone said 나 도시에서 촬영할거야, then I think wow you going to very big city! but 시내 means just like you said, somewhere in the city or inside of city(town). so if you really going to take a picture in the city like I said, you can use 도시, but if not, in almost of situations, it would be better using 시내.
sorry for my short English, I can't perfectly tell you the nuance.

@Hakumaii If I live in Kiev. It's a quite big city, capital city. And I'm gonna go out and take some pics

Can I use 시내 in this case or 도시 would be better?

@AlexElj if you live in that city you just use 시내. if you don't live in Kiev, but live in like the countryside, then you maybe use 도시. because 도시 is a antonym of 지방. so '나 도시로 촬영하러가' understand as 'I usually live in countryside, and take a picture nearby her also. but this time, not countryside, I'm going to city and take a picture there!'.
