Pregunta de Japón
When having a conversation, what other words I can I use besides どうぞ when I accidentally interrupt someone? Sometimes I've said どうぞ and the person didn't understand... 😣
For example, it might go like this in English:
"Oh I'm sorry, you go."
"No, no--you!" Etc.

@jssberry You can say something like:
「●●さん(the name of the other person) からどうぞ。」
「何を言おうとしたんですか?(何言おうとしたの?)」
「あ、すみません。かぶりましたね。私のはたいしたことじゃないから、●●さん、お先にどうぞ(あ、ごめん。かぶったね。私のはたいしたことじゃないから、●●ちゃん、先にどうぞ)」
The ones in the parentheses are for casual situations with friends.

I am not for sure if I understand your question correctly, but I hope I do.
どうぞ generally means please.
You probably used どうぞ to express like “please go ahead”?
If so, just like your example, say I’m sorry first, and thenどうぞ。
あー、ごめんなさい(or すみません)。どうぞ、(話を)つづけてください。
By that, they understand why you useどうぞ in such situations.
Or 「あっ!どうぞどうぞ(repeat two or three times)」with shy smile, and with hand gesture.
It’s more like Japanese maybe 😊

Hey?
It's a rare question of Japanese for me to be asked.
I put お先に(おさきに) before どうぞmeaning "after you".
BTW,
RIP for Ryuuhei Ueshima dead by unfortunate,he's created as Japanese jokes for citizens used to give preright to who.
どうぞどうぞどうぞ!
Don't forget handing your hand to who showing.
