«Multiusos» is a compound noun.
• Multi = Multiple
• Usos = functions.
Multi / usos = Multiple functions.
We use the plural «usos» because we are saying that someone has more than one function. The person is capable of doing several things, not just one.
«Multiuso» (singular) doesn't exist, since it would be an oxymoron. The word «multi» indicates plurality, so it wouldn't make sense to follow up with a singular noun. It's always «multiusos».
-> Una persona multiusos.
(A multi-skilled person.)
